General
When was CashRun established?

CashRun was established in 2007 with the objective of supporting businesses’ needs for effective and affordable online payment solutions.

How many orders have CashRun’s solutions processed so far?

Since inception, CashRun’s solutions CashShield, CashPay, and Credit Card Processing have processed millions of orders, and are proven fast and effective.

Which geographical regions does CashRun and its solutions cater to?

CashRun has offices located in Switzerland, Germany, USA, Singapore, and China. CashShield and CashPay can be used globally in any country. For Credit Card Processing, we are currently taking in merchants situated only in Europe or Asia.

What are the security measures in place to prevent data loss or theft?

CashRun’s servers are periodically backed-up locally and off-site to ensure maximum disaster recovery potential. CashRun’s policies are extremely stringent about data access by internal staff and external vendors, and regularly conduct security audits.

What are your technical support capabilities?

CashRun has in place a strong technical team who is tasked to provide integration and support expertise for clients. Most queries are able to be resolved on the spot, and if additional assistance is required, the technical team will assign a dedicated technical officer to handle the case.

Are there tiered rates for online merchants who handle different transaction/sales volume?

CashRun’s policy is to treat all merchants, whether small or large, equally. Our systems are primarily automated, and as such, there are no implementation of tiered rates for any of our solutions.

How long does it take to learn to use CashRun’s solutions?

CashRun’s solutions are engineered for easy and intuitive usage. User manuals and remote training will be provided free-of-charge, and usually will take about 45 minutes for each solution.

CashShield
Does CashShield work before or after the order is processed?

CashShield will begin its verification process immediately after the payment has been completed – all orders will be accepted by a merchant’s site, after which required order details will be sent to CashShield and a recommendation be passed back to the merchant to decide whether to process or refund the order.

How long does it take to verify a transaction?

For automatic verifications, CashShield will be able to verify a transaction within a few seconds. For transactions requiring a manual verification, usually our verification team will be able to verify within thirty minutes. Our verification team will also be able to work with merchants requiring a shorter verification time frame.

Am I eligible to use CashShield?

Any merchant who accepts orders and payments through a website is eligible, regardless of volume or other factors.

Which countries can CashShield be used for?

CashShield is able to accurately detect and prevent fraud in any country, and there are country-specific tuning of fraud detection parameters.

How long does it take to integrate CashShield with my site?

CashRun has in place an excellent technical team, that is able to implement most instances of CashShield deployment within 3 working days. If customization is required, the time frame is stretched naturally – our service standards aim to finish deployment for any merchant within a maximum limit of 10 working days.

Is CashShield PCI-compliant for the protection of sensitive customers’ data?

CashShield works with a set of unique variables that does not include credit card numbers, expiry dates, or security codes. As such, the system can monitor a variety of payment gateways and is not limited to just credit cards; CashShield is able to work with all major online payment gateways.

What is CashShield’s 100% Chargeback Protection feature?

CashShield’s unique 100% Chargeback Protection feature entirely protects merchants who use CashShield from any chargeback due to fraud. CashRun will insure and pay the merchant for such chargebacks, thus a merchant’s monetary risk exposure to fraud is reduced to zero entirely.

Does the 100% Chargeback Protection feature also insure for charges such as shipping & handling fees?

Yes, the fees and chargeback protection are calculated on the total payment sum. So in case of a chargeback due to fraud, you will be reimbursed for your full loss.

How soon is the payment reimbursed to a merchant in the event of a chargeback claim?

Chargeback claims can be conveniently submitted through the CashShield system, and approval for reimbursement will take a maximum of 14 working days. The reimbursement will then be conducted with the next scheduled billing invoice.

How much does it cost to use CashShield?

Costs vary from merchant to merchant depending on the products’ risk level. An accurate quotation will be given to you after profiling your business. Fees for CashShield range from 0.5% to 2.0%.

Is there a fee involved for upgrades of CashShield?

As long as they have an existing contract, all merchants will receive the features and benefits of new CashShield versions free-of-charge.

Can I use CashShield without going through the CashShield account management interface?

The CashShield account management interface is an optional tool to give you a broad overview on the status of fraud in your transactions. CashShield will integrate and send all verification results to your e-commerce system directly so you do not have to use it – though we strongly recommend logging in once in a while. You will be able to view the verification results in your e-commerce system directly.

Does CashShield work with orders that involve gift-cards, discount coupons, vouchers, etc?

CashShield will work with any payment method as long as the unique set of order variables can be provided for reliable verification results. Due to the wide variety of mechanisms and promotion methodology, we advise merchants to check with their CashRun account manager to verify.

How can CashShield help if my business is in a low-risk industry?

Using CashShield, your business will be able to optimize revenue growth per chargeback risk, allowing the maximum amount of genuine orders to pass through instead of restricting them.

Your business will also be able to focus on other core competencies instead of worrying about fraud, and save operating costs on your own in-house verification staff.

CashShield fees are calculated based on the risk level for your business/industry. As such your business will be able to take advantage of our lowest chargeback protection fees.

CashPay
What payment methods can my site implement using CashPay?

Apart from the major popular payment gateways, CashPay allows you to implement direct credit card processing and global bank transfers as part of your site’s payment options, altogether in one integrated solution.

How soon will a merchant receive his or her payment funds from CashRun?

CashRun will usually process a merchant’s funds within 5 working days, subject to individual countries’ banking policies.

What is the integration time frame like for CashPay?

Most instances of CashPay integration will be completed with 2-3 working days, and CashRun aims to complete all integration processes with a service standard maximum limit of 10 working days.

What if my preferred payment method is not listed for CashPay?

CashPay is an extremely flexible solution, and we will be able to assess whether we can implement your preferred payment method(s) or propose suitable alternatives.

Credit Card Processing
How are the transactions secured?

All transactions going through Credit Card Processing are secured by an SSL certificate from our card acquirer partner, and data is processed and stored on PCI DSS certified servers.

Which regions are covered by Credit Card Processing?

Credit Card Processing currently accepts merchants incorporated only in Europe or Asia.

What are the fees for Credit Card Processing?

Fees will be determined on a case-by-case basis dependent primarily on a merchant’s products and/or services, and other factors.

Which credit cards can I process with CashRun’s Credit Card Processing?

While it depends on your geographical location, Credit Card Processing will allow you to accept payments from a majority of the following credit cards: VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro, V Pay, VISA Electron, and GIROPay.

What are the eligibility criteria for merchants wanting to implement Credit Card Processing?

All applicants for Credit Card Processing are evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and some of the factors taken into consideration are the industry and product type, company profile, and sales policies.

How soon will I know the results of my application?

Application results usually will be known within 14 working days from the submission date to CashRun’s card acquirer partner(s).
